Fix surfboard ding with Solarez

How to fix a small surfboard ding with Solarez (or similar)

• 1Solarez
• 1Sandpaper (60grit)
• 1Transparent tape

• 1. Clean ding

  Remove loose bits and sand the area around the ding with 60grit.

• 2. Apply Solarez

  Squeeze Solarez on the ding area and use transparent tape to cover and smoothen the area. Make sure to be out of the sun for this otherwise the Solarez can harden up too fast.

• 3. Cure Solarez

  Directly expose the ding area to the sun and let it cure for a few minutes until the Solarez is hard.

• 4. Sand ding

  Remove the tape and sand down any rough edges.

• 5. Go surf

  All done!
